How to Choose Promotional Playing Cards
When adding promotional playing cards to your next marketing campaign, there are a number of factors to consider before making a purchase.
1. Imprint location - Decks of cards with completely custom faces may be a fun option for your brand, but a traditional deck may get you the most recognition. Some people find completely custom faces hard to play with and prefer a more traditional looking deck. Consider this when you’re choosing your imprint locations. Ask about options to imprint the box, the back of the card and the face so you can choose what is best for your brand initiative.
2. Card stock – When it comes to playing cards, how they feel really matters. A thicker card is easier to play with and tends to be more durable than a thinner card. Request samples so you can test the cards yourself before you make your purchase.
3. Product size – For most promotions, standard playing card size is probably the right choice, but if you’re looking for something to make a statement, ask about specialty sizes. Mini decks of cards are easy to carry and may even come with a keychain option, so your brand is always with your customers. Jumbo-sized promotional playing cards are fun for demonstrations and make unique gifts.
